Michelle Anklan, LCSW (she/her)
FOUNDER & ORGANIZER
Michelle organized the first Pride Ride Utah in 2021 at Brighton Resort. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice with Full Progress Mental Wellness and teaches social justice and diversity courses for the Master of Social Work program at the University of Utah. She is a member of the LGBTQ+ Affirmative Therapist Guild of Utah, volunteers with the Center for Positive Sexuality, and is passionate about intersex justice. Michelle enjoys snowboarding, pole dancing, gymnastics, and studying Spanish.

C Meyer, CSW (she/they)
PARTNER & ORGANIZER
C is a therapist at Flourish Therapy, working to make gender-affirming care more accessible. She is an outdoor enthusiast, and spends her free time camping with her partner and dog, snowboarding, running, riding motorcycles, climbing, and taking as many adventures as she can! They are passionate about community integration, inclusion in the outdoors, and transgender rights.

Erica Carpenter (she/her)
ORGANIZER
Erica is an educator and artist. In her education work, she focuses on creating inclusive and affirming educational experiences and curriculm for k-12 students. As an artist, she creates functional and political ceramic art.
Erica just moved to Salt Lake City and is enjoying her first winter in the mountains. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, working on her house, making things, cooking, and traveling.

Kate Hanus (She/Her)
ORGANIZER / SWISS ARMY KNIFE
Kate first got involved with Pride Ride in 2024 after being volun-told ;) by her wife. Kate thrives behind-the-scenes, whether it be in her day-job scheduling for a travel company or in her time volunteering around the city. She brings 10+ years of experience participating in AIDS/LifeCycle in California!
She, her wife, and their 2 chihuahuas moved to Salt Lake City 4+ years ago and are enjoying their 4th winter here. For Kate, winter in SLC means cross country skiing and bundling up to brave her daily bike commute to work.
